Molenbeek, Brussels

Reportage realized by ARCI Chieti and Pac Evere in cooperation with Ikonoblast and Officine Culturali Media Lab inside some youth centres (Maison Jeune) in Molenbeek, Brussels.
As far as youth policies are concerned, the neighbourhood of Molenbeek represents an interesting experiment in a “border” area, with a strong presence of immigrants, in which is quite necessary a specific work finalised to the integration.
The methodologies used in the youth centres, the practices and activities managed by the social workers represent an important moment for the growth of the adolescents of the neighbourhood transforming social places in meeting points among cultures in which to express a full citizenship.
